my whole family along with extended and family friends have taken part in a bet of what i will get, $2 entry get the pot for the closest bid. so disheartening to hear dad telling my grandparents "don't go 90, its a waste of a bet, bet 80's" and having a little sister banking on an asterisk.
mine was a previous job but the other woman who worked there quit and so i've gone from 1 day a week working 6 hours to 6 days a week working 30 hours, it feels like a new job
everyone thinks art is a bludge because a lot of the time it is actually fun. non-art students walk past the studios and see people painting and singing to the radio while doing their BOW and instantly assume they aren't doing any work. Its a demanding course but its so rewarding when that major...
the only argument I have with the religion paper was the fact that you had to spend most of the reading time and part of the writing time trying to understand what the question is asking. yes often we may be confused about the correct answer, or the right response but we should never be confused...
all up printing photos was $150, mounting was $155 and book was ~$70 and video was like $10 for discs lol. all up around $400? not too bad i dont think
even though my exam timetable has been pretty shocking (english, sor1, english then maths, maths ext 1, french and then 2 week break for art) I am surprised how un-stressed i have been. HSC was never anything that seriously stressed me out but i thought during this time i would get a bit nervous...
i think you may lose something, depending what the question is worth. obviously if you have done like a page of working for a one mark question and you stuff up the end they probably wont penalise you but if its like a 3 or 4 marker then you might lose one for an "incorrect" answer. they mark...
i was surprised that q 6, 7 and 8 were harder than 9 and 10. once i had finished 6, 7 and 8 i was like oh god what will be next but they were actually pretty fine.. anyone else find that??
yea we did immigrant chronicles as our prescribed texts and went into so much detail, the markers dont know what ur prescribed text is and so it can look as though u just didnt listen in class. I would say if you have other relateds, do them. good luck tomorrow!
seriously mate? TAFE is brilliant for so many courses for a course like that there is no point going to one of the prestigious unis because you aren't going to learn the practical side of the course. thats such a shallow minded approach, I'm not going to TAFE but only because it doesn't have my...
you have to decided what the study will do for your marks, ie. no point studying for 8 hours for an extra 3% but maths online is really good for last minute study things. I would say you should do at least 1 past paper and learn everything you dont know in that but then its probably not worth...
if your so interested in doing french why didn't you do it in the younger years? no effense its just a silly move if you want to do well in hsc cause you will have to devote so much time to it and your other subjects will fall behind. i went on exchange at the end of year 10, came back almost...
