LOL. Sorry peeps no solutions here for you. Just waitin on Mr Terry Lee to release his set of solutions for the exam. He usually releases it on the same day (I think).
Where areee you.......?
i do malouf and WW and I thought that MOd A was really good. The 2 differences I talked about were the portrayals of the wild (like WW is not so wild and malouf was uber wild) and the extent to which the wild infleunces humanity (like WW is more emotional/psychological but malouf was all...
Can someone PLZ explain to me what a 'personal voice' in an essay is? They are always raving on about it in the notes from the marking centre and I have noo idea what their on about.
I have a little suspicion they can find out, because our school has been using that same text combination for a while, and we havent got a single band six mark in about 3 years, and we are a top 15 school. WTF.
Maybe there are only certain combinations that are possible or something...DAMN...
WOW. How the hell have you studied 16 prescribed texts?? By prescribed texts i mean the HSC texts given in that list, like focus texts. Man i think our teachers may have funked something up.
I've only studied 4!! I havent done any non-fiction prescribed texts :S :S Anyhow, even if you have studied 5 how are you supposed to show it?? As in, in the exam?
AOS - Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (PROSE)
Mod A - Malouf/Wordsworth (PROSE/POETRY)
Mod B - Citizen Kane (FILM)
Mod C - Antony...
You know how in english advanced its a course requirement to have studied 5 prescribed texts from:
Shakespearean drama
Prose fiction
Drama or film
Poetry
Nonfiction/mediaHas anyone actually done this??
It was a tricky little thing...I think i got it out but i fudged it towards the end:
x = (1/p)(p^2-1/p^2)
y = (p)(1/p^2-p^2)
= (-p)((p^2-1/p^2)
Then x/y = (1/p)/(-p) = -1/p^2
So y/x = -p^2
Its pretty simple from here on, every where you see p^2 sub that in, and everywhere you see p sub...
NO!!!
LoL. Halogens are elements in group 7, like fluorine, chlorine and bromine. They're usually pretty nasty reactive things.
On the other hand, halons are kinda like a brand name for specific types of CFCs.
So they're not interchangeable. Have a look at wikipedia.
