Yes! Our teacher told us at the start of yr11 that she will be marking hard so we know what to expect for the HSC and year 12.
Our yearlys were marked extremely hard and I was the highest with a mark of 70% which i'm pretty proud of :)
I'm currently doing my first english assesment which is due in a few weeks and for it we have to pick a related text and we have to explain the 'context' of the related material.
I'm not really sure what they mean about the context and what I can write for it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would recommend perhaps buying EXCEL books on math. You can buy one for yrs 9,10, 11 and 12. Just buy the one you need and do the chapters / exercises you need help on. They helped me out.
Yup just wanted to say thanks for posting these up! My first English assessment was relating my related material to something in the stimulus booklet and I was going to link it to 'the road not taken' so these will really help me out.

I dont even know if our school is getting some yet. If everyone in yr12 doesn't buy the $300 school blazer (That we'll only ever wear twice) then we're not getting any jerseys! :o and with half the grade refusing to buy one who knows!! :confused:
