Just wondering if anyone here is currently at Shalom or has a place for 2005. If so, nice to meet you, and I guess I'll see you on the 20th of Februrary!
I'm kinda feeling stupid because I got the email addresses of each of the 38 new residents from a RESSOC mail-out and emailed everyone to...
Not really sure, Frazzle, try asking your careers advisor?
BDesign I don't know much about, but I know BDM covers graphic design elements but in a more digital field - like web design and such..
So now that the UAIs are in, I'll ask about this course again.
Who thinks they have a chance for BoDM? I ask because I think I have a chance with 93.45 and am interested in meeting my possible future classmates. ^ ^
The way I figured it to be B was an example our Physics teacher gave us ages ago:
If you stand at a cliff and simultaneously throw a rock out horizontally with one hand, and drop one from the other hand, they'll hit the water at the same time.
Regardless of horizontal velocity, the...
I got approx. 1/10.
Work out that the intenisty of the dwarf is 1 and the star is 99.
I rearranged some equations but damned if I can remember what they were.
I ended up with 0.1005.. or approx 1/10 the radius.
Just as an addendum: on some calculators it's shift+log.
Or if you still don't understand, to get inverse log of say, "a", just type 10^a .. the ^ button sometimes looks like an x with a superscript y.
I haven't done any summaries. My study for the entire year involves four days of cramming by reading and rereading my own notes, my study guide summaries, and Bossers' notes.
*curls up and whimpers* Gonna fail.. gonna fail...
RFTG:
Mine started off as a childs story, naive and full of spelling errors. "I Live In A Big City" by Will Price, age 7. He describes his lifestyle and stuff, and then talks how he learnt at school about the people in the tribes out in the desert... and how unlucky they are to not have...
Mm, what I did was to start out like this..
"An illustration by R. Cobb depicts an old man sitting.." etc etc, THEN introduce the topic and the theory around it... then tie back to the picture: " ... The man and the plant can be seen as symbols of the individual, struggling to cope in .."...
It's always said "at least two", so three would be fantastic. Remember they're the most important thing, and if you do three prescribed and one related you've got a killer essay =}
Don't cry, hon. Don't stress. So far the B.O.S has been very kind on us this year. I have... just this vibe.. that tomorrow's paper will be fair.
If you're good enough, and I have no reason to think you're not, you'll do well by just analysing the related text you know. Forget the other if...
Why the hell did you choose an extra text that you know nothing about? Choose related texts that are related, not because you like the film.
Cool icon, btw.
I could write a whole essay about Ted Hughes' "The Shot"... or Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address". Things are good. =}
Your Stewie icon is dancing in time with my RHCP! O O. *watches, transfixed*
