Does anyone know what replaced this unit?
I failed this last year and was forced to push my studies back 6 months cos it was only offered in Spring, and now it's not offered at all :spzz:.
I know some people doing B.IT, other similar/equivalent courses at the more reputable unis. Personally I've only attended UWS, but we've compared attendance, study commitments, that sort of thing.
UWS was admittedly a last resort option back at the HSC, but soon I started enjoying the relaxed learning environment and watched my high school mates struggle with their workload. Not to mention the hours pw are less, and the campus is an easy 15 min drive from home (absolutely hate public...
After 3 months 10 applications and 4 interviews I have found work, it's the most satisfying feeling in the world :). All those nights of fixing up my CV and digging into the depths of Seek and Linkme paid off. Those people who are still searching - don't give up, there are always new opportunities!
Parking is bad on the Penrith campus too? They're been raising the price each year, the permits used to be $50 then $75 last year.
edit: Reread your post, nvm.
Ouch that doesn't look good. I think you'll have more chance trying to take Operating Systems and Programming Techniques together next year when you have some experience from Fundamentals. There are past papers here (UWS Library - Exam Papers) but not for PF =/. Try and get as much out of the...
Haha I go there a little late on purpose, once Parra north is full they'll let you park over the grass at south. Maybe like 9:10-9:15. It was still like 30 min on Monday for me waiting for traffic coming in 3 directions to all get up this narrow ramp lmao.
I'm guessing they recently removed another key program which covers some of AP major units as core, or removed an elective somewhere in 2nd year. The old course I'm doing (3507.3) had 8 electives plus some units which counted towards majors too. You should email the unit coordinator asap.

It's more common than many would think. There was a thread a while ago about a hit-and-run incident at the Parra parking lot near the library. Last year I also witnessed a car get bumped slightly by a guy who just drove off (cept it was illegally parked). The only "security" I've seen are there...
Red is restricted to staff, blue will guarantee you a spot if you can afford it (as they limit the number sold). I always just buy a yellow and get to class a little early (or late), cos it doesn't seem fair to have to buy a permit at 3x the price the get a frigging spot we paid for anyway. From...
