I'm thinking of applying to go on exchange next year however I won't be 21 whilst I'm there.
Just wondering from those who have personally gone on exchange or have any insights whether this will have much of an impact on making friends (assuming they'd want to go out to bars), etc.
Note: one...
I achieved a UAI of 99.6. It's definitely possible, don't lose hope! My subjects were English Standard, Mathematics Extension 1, Economics, Studies of Religion 2 and even Visual Arts.
Good luck :)!
Hey there. I'm just wondering if it's possible at all for me to study B Commerce (major in Finance) / B Science (major in Mathematics) AND also learn a language at the same time? I've heard that a language can be studied within the Commerce and Science degrees, but I'm not sure if it will go as...
Oh, wow. Think we're on the right track then!
I thought it was a relatively easy paper. Just starting to realise a few silly mistakes that I made though :(.
What did you guys get for this Q? It was right at the end of Q9.
If I remember correctly, my answer was that the beam is k5b^4/12 units below the x-axis. Most likely wrong, but I'm curious to know how everyone else approached it!
Ohh, thanks for reminding me to write up some essay plans! Hopefully I'll get around to doing that tomorrow.
Hahah, hey Aaron! I'm still on here, just not posting as much (or at all!) :o. How're your exams going and all?
I don't feel ready at all. I've been doing past papers for the multiple choice and short answer questions and I have quite a number of essays on other topics, but I'm not sure what else I should do.
How are you guys studying? Does anyone actually try to write practice extended responses within...
Ohh, phew. I got v=14 something as well. Seriously hoping that it's right!
You can't just halve the range, can you? Since the particle wasn't projected on ground level, I'm not sure if it works like that.
What I did was make vertical velocity = 0 and subbed in v to get the time. Then I subbed...
I surprisingly didn't spend too long on the first part which ended up being 79 months as you said. But it was the second part that got me!
My equation couldn't be solved, definitely :o. So the way I went about doing the question was wrong. Mind letting me know how you approached it?
I ended up...
I did the same as you :).
Did anyone work out part two of the series question where you had to find the annual rate at which Melina invested her money? I ended up with some horrible equation which couldn't be solved :o.
Hey guys. Just wondering if your school has finished the course already, and if not, how much further you have to go?
I'm not sure if my school is behind, but we're just up to our second tradition for Religion and Peace right now (haven't started though!).
Hmm, I wonder why I still haven't received my rejection call from PwC yet.
That's exciting news about the contracts for all of you who got an offer though. Congratulations!
They're roughly the same as the previous year.
Business & BIT: Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 November
Engineering, Computer Science & the Built Environment: Thursday 27 and Friday 28 November
It has been my goal to get into the Co-op Program for a while now, but I've recently found out that the interview day for Finance is 3 days after I leave for overseas.
I've emailed them about any possibility for an alternate interview day. They basically said no, but suggested that I should...
Good luck, shakky15! I'm still waiting for a call from PwC. Quite surprised that they haven't called by now actually, even if it is a rejection.
I'm really hoping that I will get an offer from them, but I know the chances are pretty slim at this stage :o.
