Sorry, probably a stupid question..
In my bibliography, when I'm citing statute, do I include all the sections and subsections I've mentioned in my footnotes?
i.e.
Fair Trading Act 1987 (NSW) s.2; s.15; s.4(a)
Or is the listing of sections not necessary in the bibliography?
Cheers :cook:
Re: Hi
They usually just give you booklets and activities to do, lots of powerpoints and managers will tell you what's expected of you. There will be training on customer service techniques, OH&S, training on the registers, etc.
Don't worry too much about the register technicalities if you...
I'm planning to move down to Melbourne (from Syd) for about 1 year for a graduate job. Perferably living close to Southern Cross Station.
I've been down there a couple of times, but I've heard the CBD has a high crime rate esp. at night, with the alcohol and violence. Can anyone confirm this...
join UNIT - university network for investment and trading. free and sounds good on your resume (isn't that the point?)
Thusly, I spent $0 at O'week, and I can spend that money on more than 1 drink per week.
I also sell all my textbooks after my final exams. Nobody should lie to...
Actually, the "earning power" of accounting grads is a misconception. If you look at the past 5 years of statistics from CareerFAQs or the NSW Graduate Opportunities Handbook, you'll see Accounting grads earn quite low salaries compared to the other disciplines I've mentioned.
The highest...
I recently graduated from a Bach in Accounting. I can tell you the accounting job market is very bad for graduates. It was reasonably good last year, but this year following the GFC, if you look in the newspapers' careers section there are practically NO JOBS for accountants, let alone...

*point to a guy on the street* "That guy's really cute, what do you think?"
Or drop the word gay in every second sentence and watch how he responds.
Considering the current economic climate how is everyone doing with job hunting?
My GPA isn't all too impressive, making job hunting a pain up the .
What is your overall view on your law degree taught at MQ? Study tips? Too much reading? Too much work; and no life?
I have an offer to do M. International Trade and Comm Law, and I'm a bit nervous as to whether I am capable. Whichever offer I take, I'm aiming a Credit average minimum.
It sounds like something out of the book 'A thousand splendid suns' which goes in depth about the mistreatment women in muslim cultures. It's a bit sad that women with as much potential as men are held back because of tradition. You shouldn't be made to fear your father.
I'd say manage your...
calm down, you don't need to lodge your tax return until end of October. Plus the reason your employer hasn't given it to you yet is probably because they want to process all the FY PAYG tax summaries in one go to everyone in the company. Since the year doesn't end until 30 June, they probably...
Hey I'm a P2 Auto driver. I may have recalled it wrong, but is there a RTA rule that doesn't allow Auto-licensed drivers to learn Manual driving? (or vice versa)
Do what you think will most likely benefit your future job prospects.
But personally, I think employers value majors much more than sub-majors. Reason being you have to do more subjects for a major, hence you know more about that area of interest. It also looks a lot more impressive on your...
The BBC course has pretty much nothing to do with the technical side of math. Just as long as you can add and subtract, you should be fine.
The ONLY exception here, is one core subject called Statistics. That is the only actual math you will do in the entire degree. It's definitely pass-able...
I saw this in the news last week;
Highest Demand jobs:
- ENGINEERING
- NURSING/MEDICINE
- EDUCATION
Jobs suffering with the economic crisis:
- FINANCE AND BANKING
- Most RETAIL (except in grocery, cause people still need to eat)

I'm very disappointed myself; having...
