Hope this makes sense:
When you do the UMAT, you can achieve a maximum "score" of 100 in each of the three sections, and you will receive a "percentile" which indicates how well you went for each section compared to others.
For example, you might get a score of 75 in section I, and...
Hey Guys,
The two main UMAT Prep courses are MedEntry and f2f - which I found helpful. There's others like NIE and Icarus, however, many feel these are less effective.
In regards to MedEntry's 2 day course - the Mock Exam is helpful sure, but why pay so much just to see your place against...
This is absolutely correct.
Since you have tertiary experience, medical/dental schools would like to know how you have performed academically.
For universities such as University of Sydney, they use a system of giving out: FAIL (0) - less than 50
PASS (4) - 50 to 65 (65 is not included)...
Yes, they should have. If you did not receive any notifications, perhaps you should give the Faculty of Medicine a call, just case there was an administrative error.
Good luck
It depends on the university. If you have been out of high school for one year, I know for sure that UNSW considers your ATAR score, first year's GPA, and UMAT.
This sort of information would vary and should be listed on the universities' websites. If not, give them a quick ring
I'd also like to add that MBLG1001 in first year can be a very difficult course ! To anyone who's doing Pharmacy here, does the name Bruce Lyon ring a bell? :P
They have made it easier since 2009 by compiling reference material from different textbooks into the one textbook - saving you time...

Yeah you're right lyounamu. It's for those that missed out main round offers since their umat was not competitive enough. It was actually quite hard this year to gain a main round offer, you needed an outstanding UMAT score.
Luckily enough though, those who have a ATAR score that's enough to...
Hmm congrats on getting the Co-op scholarship. Just remember though not to let it influence you too much - this is your career we are talking about. After all, money can always be earned back once you graduate :) Anyhow, keep your GPA up and definitely reapply - that way, you still have your...
Good question. I would say ... if you are plannng to join, why not do it sooner so you can reap what the course has to offer earlier? In the end you're still going to be forking the same few hundred dollars - find a couple of mates and go for the group discount.
There's a lot of debate as...
Good luck to those who've received an interview - nearly there! To all those who have UNSW medicine interviews this upcoming week, a bigger GOOD LUCK to you
What do you say? Well ... I believe you should just be yourself because after all that's who the interviewers want to get to know.
More importantly though I guess, is how you express yourself. As long as you're genuine and passionate, this will come through
Can anyone explain this? =]
1. In a transformer, what would be the effect of INCREASING the number of turns on the secondary coil, with the same light globe attached?
OK.. so the output voltage would be higher...
BUT how about this....
With the same lamp, the current would be more...
