Ok, i kind of get the idea, i guess what i wanted to know was that if i do crap in economics will that really matter since it only counts as one unit.
I guess the answer to my question is yes, so i should not slack off just thinking its one unit.
Thanks guys for the quick response.
Im doing
4unit maths
3unit maths
English
business studies
chemistry
economics
The thing is i want to drop 4 unit maths so then ill be doing a total of 11units...
but economics is not my strongest subject, so how will they calculate my uai and marks. If eco is my lowest subject will they just...
Yes but to understand and forget is a WASTE OF TIME, ofcourse when your memorising your going to be understanding the information.
So in an exam when a question is presented it will be easier to pinpoint the location of the dot point, the topic and perhaps section its from making it a SHITLOAD...
...hmmm... about having your marks reduced by 10% im certain thats just false speculation since the board of studies allows students to redo yr 12 but only ONCE more. So the last mark you receive after your second try is the one your stuck with.
your note late for tafe, the one im applying at is having their registration etc on 31st jan, call up the tafe places your thinking of going and i guess they'll let you know if your late or not. Anyeways good luck with everything!
Ok, so basically this is my mind set for studing chem
1. Go over the dot points and memorise the information under every dot point
2. Do past papers and questions from text books ----> which will inculde calculations and answering questions with graphs :P
I didnt mean just ONLY MEMORISE...
well yes they do, honestly i havent really been helped much by the premium notes but im still glad i became premium, atleast im supporting this great site!
Well im preparing for the hsc for next year and am getting a head start in the holidays :) ,
Since i dont really have a studious background i'm slightly overwhelmed by HOW i should be studying.
As i do each dot point of from the syllabus would it be worth memorising the syllabus itself...
thanks so much for that, totally reflective of my perspective. Exactly what im on about!
As long as i get to where i want to be its not going to concern anyone if ive had to spend another year, since im most certain that i will achieve what i want.
JUST A REAL LIFE EXAMPLE
A family...
hmmmm, im just finishing my hsc this year but yeh i went for all the sessions they had this year and believe me you haven't seen half the amount of chocolate they will be handing out, so i guess you should think of enrolling for the year
ok so i guess i can finally conclude that i will be going to tafe next year to do yr12 again, thanks alot to everyone in this thread really did help me make this important decision!,
THANKS AGAINNN GUYYSS!!!
HSC TAFE HERE I COMEEEEEE!!!!..................
