How many contact hours do you engineering students have?
Im currently on first year, and I have a 24 hours a week timetable which is pretty insane.
Im doing a combined commerce/engineering degree with all engineering subjects first year.

So I got a application form today, for ARC membership (basically a student union of UNSW). It costs around $149 a yeaer to be a member.
Is it actually worth it?
Will it pay itself off with discounts?
Am I disadvatnaged in any way if I dont join?

For a person picking up 4 unit in year 12 and currently doing 2-3 unit maths, is there any recommendations that anyone can give if someone is unsure about picking up 4 unit? I feel that the 2-3 course is moving quite slowly, and if i am to pick up 4 unit in year 12, i would have to handle harder...
