Hi, I'm wondering if I should do a bridging course in Biology to prepare for this course. I'm starting 1st yr this yr and having looked at the Lecture Summaries for "structure, function and disease" (BIOS1155) I find it has little to do with my Chem and Physics.
I finished courses in Maths...
Does anyone know of an nVIDIA 6700 XL graphics card? From what I hear it's not very popular. I have it on my comp, the graphics is ok (can handle GTA vice city well) but does anyone have any idea how it performs against other nVIDIA cards?
(2nd down) 'analyse the significance of hydrogen spectrum..." and (5th down) "describe how bohrs postulates led to the...maths model"
arent the 2 ideas the same thing? in the 2nd one, the hydrogen spectrum allowed bohr to devise his hypothesis (im not going into details here) and for the 5th...
does diffraction refer to the intensity maxima and minima pattern or does it refer to the xrays actually bending around the atoms of the crystalline material when it is shone onto it? its kinda confusing because i rmb a book (jacaranda?) said it was not really reflection (as seen in many books)...
Can anyone plz explain how Maxwell's theory of EM waves (electric+magnetic fields) couldnt explain the radiation curve, and then how Planck's hypothesis fit that idea? also how "an induction coil is like a transformer" (jacaranda textbook).
its like this, i set up a galvanic cell and i varied the width of the copper electrode (5 widths were used) while keeping the other electrode unchanged. the results showed that the voltage output was always a constant no matter how the width of the copper electrode changed.
i was pretty...
in physics, regarding the discharge tube, the cathode is (-). in chem, regarding the galvanic cells, the anode is (-) although they are both where the electrons are coming from. any explanation to this discrepancy, anyone??? thanks
hi all, im currently at school now and is wondering what those courses are like and how uni ppl are finding them. i also hear from a few ppl that these are relatively new courses so theres not a lot of job prospects, that true?
