for a 2nd semester advanced subject, if for instance u dont get a D in the normal 1st sem subject but you did fulfil the hsc requirements for the advanced level, is it possible to switch to the advanced unit in 2nd semester based on your hsc ?

for those who are worried about missing out on their cut off date, i think u may still be able to make changes online, because under the 'session dates' on the myadmin site, it says u can make changes for up to 2 days AFTER the actual cut off date (for both sem 1 and sem 2)...iv'e attached a pic...

how many credit points MUST we do at advanced level in the adv sci degree ?? if one was doing only 6 per semester, would that be too little?

now the recommended textbook for regular first yr chem is "Chemistry. The Molecular Nature of Matter and Change, Martin Silberberg, McGraw Hill, THIRD EDITION"...however i am getting this edition for $60 compared to only $30 for the SECOND edition!! is there much difference between the 2...

im doing linear algebra advanced but normal differential calculus..is that such a good idea? is adv linear algebra easier than adv differential calculus? Because on enrolment day when i was receiving special permission, the old lady for some reason suggested that i shouldnt do adv differential...
