Be careful who you listen to.
In the 70s-80s there was a big 'get fit america' movement. Government, celebrities and big fitness companies got behind this campaign as america continued to get fatter.
Because barbell exercises (as you'll remember from your first bench press) are hard to...
My mother and I were talking about this when ordering some in bulk today.
When you break the seal of a bag of protein how long is it until there is a loss of nutritional value? does it deteriorate?
I'm not talking about complete exposure but a peg over the bag or something.
- Other students ask how you're going with an assessment 3 weeks before its due.
- You schedule outtings with friends weeks in advance so they don't conflict with cramming.
- You congregate together with other law students in your arts subjects.
- There's actually a macbook club in...
Hai everyone, thought I'd vent on the Bos. If you're into psycho girl stories have a read.
Febuary this year I was going out with a very close high school friend - she'd just come out of a really nasty relationship which ended in her spending a significant amount of time in a mental...
I was wondering if anyone knows of a store that sells GENUINE Abercrombie stuff in Sydney (wholesale pref but an outlet is fine) and would like to go somewhere where I can try things on and not have to pay for postage.
Hit me up.
Hey everyone, I understand the role of barristers as sole practitioners but I'm a bit vague on the career path from uni student to the bar.
I've looked up a number of judges/QC's/notable barrister's profiles but often there is an absence of information on their early days despite academic...
For any 2nd year + members,
Can you give us any tips for law academically? (in terms of structuring summaries, approaching readings etc etc).
Feel free to go into detail as what might seem like jargon now may be useful at a later date, and thank you.
Sorry if I seem ignorant but I've really had an arse of a time keeping up with enrolment/registration for courses.
On the 10th when we register for our lectures/tutes do we also have to register for the lectures/tutes in semester 2?
I'd know coz I was there.
My mate hooked up with this fat chick and I'm like 'no dude' and he gives me a weird stare then my other mate pulls me aside and told me it was okay cause 'it was part of the experience'
end rant,
What would you do?
Me:
- Dropped modern and picked up extension II english
- Sorted out my special provisions much sooner
- Stressed less about what uni to go to
- Kept dateing the Spanish girl in my ancient history class
- Slept better so I stressed/got angry less.
Anyone else?
I was so nervous for the first english paper and it effected me badly, but after that I got used to it and I really don't feel exam pressure as much.
I actually feel less stressed than when at school, I think its because I don't constantly have teachers on my back.
How about you guys?
A lot of my fat friends think this is wonderful news, quite personally I think its unfair to get rid of attractive models so a bunch of lardass girls don't have to feel inadaquate about their lack of self control when it comes to food.
Opinions?
I have a lot of trouble with my one of my best friends when he's drunk.
We had a graduation party last night and he went from being the person who insisted I come out and joked around with all day to being a total dick, giving out some really nasty offhanded comments and shunning my company...
Access Xerxes religious policy
Xerxes’ religious policy was broad, vast, wide and extensive. At this point I’d usually define the key terms however, as a wise man once said ‘to define is to limit’ so for the sake of this essay I shall continue.
The first element of Xerxes’ religious...
I was flicking through the St John's college magazine and found this:
Which got me thinking - WILL Australia eventually adopt a college based tertiary system? what are the advantages/disadvantages of doing so?
I'm personally not big on the idea, I think like America it could generate a...
It's getting towards the big crunch - whilst I'm sure there's a lot of ground to gain I imagine for many of us hindsight identifies some major hiccups along the HSC year.
My own:
- Not choosing extension 2 english. Both my parents are english teachers and since a young age my mother told me...
I go to a school ranked 187th, for the most part the staff at my school are older/better then those in the rest of the region (we're a rural area) but there are a few exceptions...
- My modern history teacher is shit, he gives us excel/maquarie photocopies for notes
- My advanced english teacher...
