hey dudes, i'm having major struggles with exponential growth and decay.
I don't mind so much the working out of the problems, but I just don't understand why they ask questions such as eg.
Its temperature, T°C, after t hours in the oven satisfies the equation dT/dt= −k (T − 190)

Would someone mind being a legend and explaining the process for answering these types of questions? (kinda in detail as I've tried lots of these and can't seem to get a hang of it)
"when P(x) is divided by x^2 - 1, the remainder is 3x-1. What is the remainder when P(x) is divided by x-1?"...
One thing that is bothering our whole class and which none of us are sure about is the way in which exams may change due to the reference sheet. Will exams become harder, or questions asked differently, or will they stay exactly the same as before?
