Hi all,
I am somewhat confused as to what courses I should choose. (I am a HSC student of 2017 BTW) So this is the dilemma. I would like to do Data Science and Decisions at UNSW as it could really provide a sustainable future (good job prospects).
However I do have a passion for science (phys...
Pretty much what the title says, but I was thinking of doing Psych1001. I guess it also depends on what's the easiest. But also what elective did you guys find the most interesting?

So apparently it's been confirmed that an underground passageway exists at UNSW. Where do you guys think it starts and do you think a mere student can find it?
Also, where do you find the cats?
Sup guys, I'm transferring from eng to psych/science at various universities. Since I'm only a first year my atar is going to be used and I think I have a good chance of getting in anywhere... except I'm unsure if I applied through uac too late? I'm applying in the July rounds part 1 for semester 2.
I'm a first year engo student at UNSW and I'd like to transfer to exercise physiology. My atar would pretty much guarantee me into exercise physiology but it doesn't run in semester 2 so I'd have to transfer next year. I've heard that after a full year of uni, you are not permitted to transfer...
If anyone has done any of those courses, could you tell the level of work required for those courses and whether I'd have to bother showing up to lectures?
Also, are Professor BI Henry and Dr CK Mak good lecturers?
Thanks in advance.
So the title is self explanatory, but I'm doing materials science and engineering. Although I am genuinely interested in the course, I'm considering transferring to a different degree if the job prospects are really poor.
Im a first year Engineering student at UNSW, but recently I've been thinking of transferring to a biomedical engineering degree at usyd, since unsw doesn't offer biomedical engineering as a bachelors degree. If i wanted to transfer to a different uni and a different degree, how high should my...
Im a first year Engineering student atm, but recently I've been thinking of transferring to a biomedical engineering degree at usyd, since unsw doesn't offer biomedical engineering as a bachelors degree. If i wanted to transfer to a different uni and a different degree, how high should my wam be...
So I just had my first lectures for MATH1131 today and considering I've only done 2 unit, I've understood most of the stuff, for now at least. I know we dont need a textbook but It'd help if i had a textbook for the algebra section. So does anyone know which book I should get for algebra? My...
Im a first year engo student and due to a timetable screw up im only able to do 3 courses for my first semester. Those courses are MATH1131, PHYS1121 and MATS1101. I was told that the standard courses are maths, physics, computing and engineering design, so i'm going to have to do computing and...
I was changing my slots for my timetable, and my computer glitched or something, and it wouldnt work for a while. When I logged back onto my unsw to change my slots, i found that i was unenrolled into 2 courses and the only slots available caused those 2 courses to clash. And those are the only...
So, in my previous thread I said that I was unable to do the maths bridging course since I was overseas for personal reasons and that in the HSC i only did 2 units maths. So, I've pretty much been told I'm screwed. Im doing engineering and I chose MATH1131 since obviously I'm not exactly up to...
Hey guys, so I'm starting my engineering degree this year and in high school I only did 2 unit maths. I wasn't able to do the bridging course since I was overseas due to personal reasons. And now that uni is about to begin I'm stuck wondering how much not having done the bridging course will...
These are two assignment questions I got for Core 1
Help yourselves, use it for notes. But the main reason I posted this was to find out if I'm missing something, or if any information is wrong. So if that's the case then I'd really appreciate it if you tell me the flaws from my response...
