lol getting a bit heated. anyway, me and some of my mates and one of my mate's group of mates (that makes sense) are coming up to the entrance or thereabouts 1st - 8th... so i agree a beach party is in order :D or something like that.
terrible question. acceleration is constant at -9.8ms^-2...
energy is also constant...but it "varies" in terms of states as you said jase, ie KE to GPH, but in terms of total energy it remains constant. hence the dodgy-ness of the question, not very specific. i'd still put a), i'd assume its...
argh what conflicting arguments. ok here's mine:
Let Observer A be the Observer inside the train
Let Observer B be the Observer on the platform
The train is moving to the right at velocity v
Lightning strikes whenthe train is in the centre of the platform
velocity -->

yep..i have 2 exams left and absolutely no motivation at all. im gonna have to lock myself in a room without a tv/computer/door outside if i want to get anything done...
hmm
im gonna go to the lounge room.
lol in the maths exam, the supervisor said 'pens down' and my mate right up the front was like reading his calculator, and he kept writing...the supervisor is like "pens down. excuse me, pens down. ohh come on" lol all hesitantly. then my mate finishes writing down the answer and just stares at...
hahaha alllllllllllllllll the time. its the worst thing ever...then i just go "meh, time to focus on the next exam" and forget about it.
its gonna suck on november 4th when theres a month before results....and no exams to distract me from thinking about my results :P
yeah i hope it doesnt make a difference too...cause i did the same thing for the story. aaaaahhh that annoys me...i think you have to lose a few marks cause of 'not answering the question', but if your essay is really good anyway, it wont make too much of a difference.
i'll be disappointed with a raw mark of < 80 (not that i'll ever know).
i missed those stupid 4 marks too!! damn. but i never would have done them anyway...they were easy, but i only finished with like 30seconds to spare anyway. so it was either lose those 4 marks, or the last 4 of the paper...
i didn't mind the picture, just mentioned it as being symbolic of the classic crime fiction convention of the sleuth detective or whatever...then went rambling on (for a good 15odd pages) about my pre-planned thesis on conventions and context. twas alright. stuffed up the creative though, was...
okie dokie i'm pretty sure this is how i did it, maybe a bit different but here goes.
BEGIN print_adjacent_seats
seat = 1
row = 1
available = false
amount_available = 0
WHILE row <=8
WHILE seat <=10
IF array(row,seat) = "unsold" THEN
available = true...
yep it was a fairly straightforward test, 80+ raw im hoping for (not that i'll ever know). Mainly cause last year only 6% of the candidature got band 6, so they had to make it easier...
hahaha yeah me too...i just know theres going to be one of those really ambiguous questions in the hsc..i want more practice. oh well, i'll just have to go over my notes and hope for the best.....
How long are you guys gonna spend on each section? i mean i doubt anyone will actually spend 35 mins on multi choice...more like 10-15 is what i'm aiming for.
extra time will come in handy i reckon, especially considering the amount of reading needed in SDD exams. questions are like 1 page...
id say get a general story idea...just a basic plot. that way if they give you a nice question you can adapt it to it...but if the question is weird like the CSSA trial or they give you a scenario, you wouldn't have wasted too much time on it.
