Thanks guys i understand what your saying.
I know, with all my heart, that i will never in a million years change my mind about what i want to study at uni and which career path i wish to take. I know that. So when you say a year clears your mind-thats not needed for me.
It does come down...
Okay, so that statement was a little dramatic. I guess what i mean is, i personally CAN'T WAIT until i am working in my chosen field (physiotherapy). I'm really excited to do so, and i don't like the thought of making that goal one year further away.
I also have to relocate from an "inner regional" area to go to uni, hence money being the main basis of the pros.
Goodluck though, it's a shame that you don't have a choice but at the same time, your not stuck in the pickle i'm in.
Its a decision that alot of people are facing right now, including me. I've always said that I'm going straight to uni (Do not pass go, do not collect $200!) But now that I'm actually looking at the costs of uni, that $200 is looking pretty good!
Pros:
*Work for a year= $$$$$$
*Working for...
I got my schoolies paid for me...and after my parents pay for uni..living expenses included, i think i will have hit them up for enough cash!
Plus i have a smart family so i was just kinda expected to get good marks..no big surprise..no big present.
NSW UAI: 93.95
SAM: 94.15
Pretty happy!
According to last years cut-off im .3 short! Oh well...we'll see how it goes!
P.S Go the small rural public schools!!!!
Our teachers taught us to memorise. You never went into an exam without an essay planned.
I got 89 adv( i hoped for much higher)
46 in Ext1..i was happy with that
I know that i am guilty of this (complaining about 89..i got it in 3 subjects after all). I am honestly sorry for anyone that i have upset by what i have said. I do understand what you mean. I did, however, come on here to complain about missing out on band 6 by one mark because i know that if i...
Wishing i wasn't in limbo between the scores i needed/need.
Wishing SAM is right.
Putting up chrissie tree (i know, i know..i'm really slow)
Going out to dinner with mates :-)
Have a GREAT day everyone! :-)
No problem
Well your lucky to have experienced all that. I'm a rural student too and unfortunately where i am, theres not much multiculturalism and i do think that there are much fewer oportunities and encouragement of education.
And careful Krabby...you'll get the city people...
7th sign- Its things like study lecture days and shakespeare plays that rural students miss out on. It doesn't make a difference for all rural or all city students, but for those who try hard and are going for the top marks, it can make all the difference.
My teachers tell me that in english...
It won't be added on the UAI thats given to you tomorrow. Not all uni's do give 4 bonus points. Eg SydUni doesnt for all courses (does for some). Im not sure if ANU will, it depends where you are because they have weird definitions of rural locations. Most of rural nsw doesnt count (i dont...
I don't understand when you mean it restricted you to some conventions. I still covered the other conventions in the genre and my evaluation of how the 'imagined charaters thoughts' expressed the genre, was that it did express main parts of it and alluded to the rest. (eg the values)
