Re: O-week question
i dont think any of the events are compulsory to attend, but i heard it is recommended to participate in the events organised by your faculties. Its a great way to meet people who will be doing the same course as you, so as not to be a loner on the first day of lectures.
Re: 0rientation Week
is anyone gonna go to their faculty welcomes? or is everyone more into the discos etc.
Also, is it advisable for the 1st years to sign up to any clubs and societies or r they all bullshit?
i thought we get automatically allocated a timetable sent by email on Wednesday 1st March 2006.
Call me naiive or wateva, but forgive me cause this is my first year.

i dont think its acceptable to be doing graphs in maths and for that matter, u shouldn't be using pencil for anything. If u make a mistake in your graph, simply put a big cross (X) through it and draw the correct one underneath, because apparently if the one you crossed out is infact the correct...
Carefully read your SYLLABUS.
Especially the bits at the end discussing morality etc.
In realation to effectiveness, u should look at resource effeciency, accessibilty etc.
IT's ALL IN THE SYLlABUS!!!!
School's a BITCH altogether.
English isn't that bad unless u haven't done ur major essays for the three modules.
Apart from that, its just memorising them and trying to manipulate them a little into different text types.
Sure, the HSC's a bitch, but then again, life's a bitch and we all have to do things that we don't like to get what we want in the future.
I think the best way to study is to take plenty of breaks, keep a healthy mind and body, and just keep reading through some brief notes or go over a few...
