English adv- 85
bio- 94
phys- 85-90
ext 2 maths - 80+
ext 1 maths- 90+
spanish continuers- 90+
hoping to get an atar of around 95 -97
dun think its gonna happen though LOLS
OMGG im exactly like u, so much i almost want to question if we go to the same school!! But i wont haha
But we are exactlyy the same as u
Our teacher says its okay cos the prelim course is longer and that they always finish the yr 12 course esrly anyways
So yeahh xp its only for maths though LOL
i think it also depends on your cohort in each subject, also your rank
if you coming first lets say, but quite a lot, u wont get pulled down, but if ur in the middle of a not so bright cohort u may
someone correct me if im wrong :P
well if u think about it logically
when we did the selective school exams, only the top marks can get into the top schools, so already kids who are chosen to attend selective schools are generally more brighter
so if we are talking top 10 schools, they are basically the smartest people...
i use physics in focus coz its pretty good
and jacaranda is the one given to us by school
hmm we dont have dot point, but it seems like ppl are saying its really good? :O
maybe i should get it to LOL
HIII everyonee!! are we all pumped for year 12???
which is in less than a week woohoo!
whose got their jerseys? :O
My names fiona (:
im doing
4u math (maybe drop if i cbf :P)
adv english
bio
phys
spanish continuers
im aiming for around 95 atar
but id be satisfied with anything above...
Nahh man dont drop bioo
id say give it 2 terms, by term 2 if you arnt improving then drop it :P
coz the truth is, its obvious your very smart, as your doing very well in all ur tough subjects
bio should be fine for you, if you take it a bit more seriously!
also good to have a backup subject :P
Ive started writing notes for biology and physics (mainly bio coz physics is like wtf)
also TRYING to go ahead with maths
but thats not very easy LOL
wouuld looveee to start the english stuff
just have no idea how ):
Heyy woah your english is heaps good
so youve already got a really strong base / foundation
work harder in all ur other subjects and you could prob get past 70!!
Yeah i am quite confused aswell
although i do advance
i dont seem to understand the huge differnce between the 2?
how come getting a band 6 is so hard? :O
Re: How is the ATAR calculated when you have 11 (or another uneven number) units?
do u think its possible
that i could do 4u maths
doing 12 units
and fail 4u maths, but do well in 3u and my 2u will be 100% so itd end up being a good mark? LOL
like my 4u doesnt count, but i still get 100 in...
