Thats the correct attitude
Its not only how much you make in monetary terms
What counts is ultimately what value add the firm ultimately offers you (equals salary + experience + networking opportunities)
But then whos to say the contacts you make in Big4 are that great? Personally I tend...
Ahh so they do check
I stand corrected
But from my personal experiences, they don't check. I think its cos I'm still in second year at the moment, so they figure there wont be much on the transcript anyway
Curiously, what are these services available to HR which allows them to check your...
Its a given that you can't forge the authentic academic transcript but for summer internships and undergrad part time roles they never ask you for your marks throughout the whole application process anyway. Merely mentioning your marks on ur resume is enough.
thats what I found through my...

are you 2nd year?
pfft who says lawyers are rich
my original plan was that a law degree would help me in commerce
law grads arent rich... only the ones that are good (but then if you're good at anything youll be rich)
omg I died when I saw the case
I thought the first question "In what court was teh case decided" was easy... but I cant even answer that!
where can i find help? a summary would be nice
what would be even nicer is ways to read cases
the language! argh.
So 2nd year directs first year mooting...
What criteria is needed to be moot judge?
Oh and what times do the moots occur? cos if its something gay like late at night then...
well I'd choose a girl partner anyway :)
ahahaha if only...
At this rate I can't imagine myself learning or "getting used to" reading cases
Even the non-case material is pretty dense stuff
The case i was just on is called Namatjira v Raabe [(1959) 100 CLR 664] but all cases are the same. Every time I reach a case its deja vu and...
