    How much to study for IPT

    depends.... u can study SDD in less time then studying IPT properly in depth. Still I reckon both complement each other really well, in that if you do good in one, you do good in the other. Plus some aspects of theory somewhat relate to each other.

    Software Design and Development was my fave... because it was different to IPT and ITV and I liked how I had to think of solutions to problems then code them... the theory stuff pretty okay too.

    the syllabus doesn't state that you need to know any particular programming language. Basically make sure you can write/read algorithms. That's important... if u choose to do the Evolution Of Programming Languages topic, have a squiz at languages from each of the paradigms... it really helps...
