I'm going to ask someone close to check my UAI for me on saturday morning. If its above a certain point (which I'll tell them) then they can tell me, and if it isn't I can just be kept blissfant and ignorantful.

Yesterday I got a christmas card from BiG wishing me a merry this and a happy that. After I read the touching card, I was prompted to ask the question 'What exactly is BiG'? Perhaps someone could shed some light on this intruiging organisation?

For the BIT course, I don't think that they are looking for the people who necessarily have the most (or even any) IT experience. For example, look at the pre-reqs for the course - Maths and Adv English are advised... but is there any mention of IT, IPT, Software design etc? The BIT course is...

Mate I'd seriously recommend the full suit if at all possible. I'm going to be sweating it out in mine, and not my green plaid suit with flares that I wore to my formal last night either :P From those I've spoken to, a suit is looked upon favourably. I think you've gotta be prepared to do...

Well after waiting all this time, I snapped. And called Des. I've got an interview next Friday. Sweet. I bet my letter will come in about five minutes, but I don't care, I couldn't be bothered waiting for it. Someone should wear a white suit to their interview.

Haha M1nx you obviously exhibited the 'correct' uni attitude! I think that those sorts of things are good, because they show off your individuality... as long as you don't go too far, and do something like show up beer in hand, not having been home at all... Could anyone in 1st year BIT...

Mate I'd wait and see what day they schedule your interview for. You might luck in and get the 18th. Anyway, I'm prepared to be sensible and get a good night's sleep after the formal if it stands me in better stead for the interview. Now to a more pressing matter - what colour suit do you...
