I'm getting Eco done as well. Eco was my strongest subject, did ten+ past papers and got them marked by my teacher and got between 85-95 raw on them and I felt the exam was reasonably easy and then I get 83. :confused2:

HSC Notes - 88.40 ATAR Calculator 2014 - 88.2 ATAR Calculator 2012 - 88.35 Matrix - 86.80 Talent 100 - 88.35 Dux College - 88.65 My actual ATAR was 88.85 so Dux College was the closest.

88.85, decent, enough for what I need. Still going to do a result check on my Eco mark as it seems oddly low.

The kid coming first in Chinese Continuers is at a bit of an advantage going to a school in Hong Kong.

My old school, Tweed River High in Tweed Heads (~630, one of the bottom schools in the state) used to seriously advertise that they were "The top school in the state, geographically".

That seems a bit like first world problems to me considering I'm at a mid-500s school. :p

How low?

Going off last year's cutoff I needed 83.80. Matrix - 86.80, ********* - 88.40, Talent100 - 88.35, AtarCalculator - 88.2, Dux College - 88.65. Going to call Matrix an outlier.

To make everyone feel better about themselves here's mine. Legal Studies - 90 Business Studies - 89 Economics - 83 and from last year General Maths - 90 and Standard English - 77. I should be reasonably happy, because that's good enough for what I want but I was expecting higher in Economics...

It is my dream to receive a high enough ATAR to study journalism so that I may publicise issues of global importance such as HSC results and Kim Kardashian's arse.

I would like to make it clear that the Sydney Morning Herald is a publication of the highest quality especially in comparison to the Murdoch tabloid rival which is not to be named.

Shit went down a bit last year so I ended up only doing two subjects in 2013, Standard English and General Maths. I hardly studied for General Maths at all because I was completely focussed on bumping up my mediocre English score because I got an embarrassing 47% on my trial, still ranked first...

I only need 84 so I'm pretty calm so far.
