Actually 8 was C. To find the emf on coil it is the gradient of the magnetic flux. the gradient of the flux at 0 is + therefore it has to be C.
I also got 12 A, 14C and 15B.
Although it said property in 14 a silicon p type semiconductor is not positively charged! and with 15 if you use e = mc^2...
2dii) 284m
4ai) Just use binomial n=2
ii) Binomial again except n=20
iii) 1 - (answer in ii + Probability of 1 being green + Prob of 0 being green)
5b)4! x 3! / 6!
6aiv) There were 4 answers to this, i think pi/4, 11pi/12, 3pi / 4 and there was one more, 5pi/12
7aii) This one i got out...
I got 283 for that...didn't you guys integrate then find the constant? C = -250...so when you get 513 or whatever you subtract 250 from that.
Also for 1c) what was the answer? I'm not sure if I got that one
If I didn't make any other silly mistakes I should get 82/84. I didn't have time to prove the last question (but I'm confident I got the width of the two areas the projectile could land in) and in the inverse simultaneous functions I wrote the second function with a +cosx^-1 instead of a -...
