Okay so now we're finished the five case studies. 1. Time Spiral - we covered art over time touching on artists briefly. 2. Artist Research... I did Van Gogh and Durer. 3. The Archibald. 4. Contemporary Art Market and 5. Censorship.
I can imagine this would be helpful, but for the unseen plates...
Ah, cheers :D I knew San Francisco was liberated from the Spanish so I thought it may have been to do with Ho's views on Imperialism? but thanks, that link to the war and Tehran Conference helps me make sense of it all :D
I have a question that I need to answer about a speech Ho gave in 1945 (Declaration of Independence)... Why did he mention Tehran and San Francisco with reference to the Allies? Need help ASAP please.
The whole Vietnamese people, animated by a common purpose, are determined to fight to the...
Our task (due tomorrow which I HAVE done) asks for us to create a contemporary text based on a value or values from either Frank. or BR. Anyway, I've created a children's picture book. Along with that is a 500 word journal explaining the text and pretty much how you got there. I have to mention...
And thankyou yes I love the help :)
So if I did one person still portraying that idea of macho/sensitive contrast (sorf of thing, real men cry etc) it would still make sense to show this person doing all the emotions (in the drawn panels) and maybe, just maybe a video?
Now would I need the...
Yeah I know, I've been thinking about that today actually. Okay, what about just the one person with a few panels of them with different emotions? And a video loop? maybe the images in the loop could be the screenshots im referencing to add more intergrity?
I know, but I want to keep the close up facials and scarring them with wounds might make them unrecognisable? Also, what else would I put on their faces? (just honestly asking cause I have no idea)....
Video you say? Like clips from their characters doing tough or sensitive stuff of both?
Realism is my forte so I have decided to do a concept about the 'Tough guise' boys/men (some of them) are taught to have, like a don't cry, don't show feelings thing. My idea is to do 6 panels of a3 drawings of 5 actors faces and the sixth is my boyfriend. is a3 big enough? Oh and their faces...
I'm not sure exactly what I'm meant to be doing as we haven't been given many lessons... I just have a feeling there should be more to it?
So far we have studied:
Victorian Crime Fiction
Country House
Hardboiled (and glimpsed at femme fatale and film noir in doing hardboiled)
We've written a...
Perhaps memorise a certain structure to your essay overall and even practise sentences that cover technique etc, but whole essays might not work if you have to think on your feet (which you won't entirely so quotes/technique phrases are good to remember word for word).
Just practise the same...
Also if you're into movie you could discuss the actors' interpretations of the character, eg compare Kenneth Branagh and Mel Gibson? John Marsden's take vs movie take vs original?
Oh and you don't necessarily have to do celebrities if you artistically express any of your passions, say a series of famous Historic couples if you love History (Hitler and Eva Brauen, Antony and Cleopatra etc etc) or if you're a Mathematical person, explore geometric shapes by considering...
Yes Cinnamonster is right find something your a) passionate about and then you can b) start refining your technique. But as long as your enthusiastic enough about the idea no matter if you have to make minor changes here and there, you don't want to completely have to start again half way...
