I do not really see a point in this thread. There are more important issues for Medical students and prospective medical students than interfering with other cultures, whether they are jewish,moslem, buddhist, hindu...

I was just wondering,(actually I heard this from a friend), that you can complete the UNSW 6 year MBBS course in 5 years. is this true or what?

Not many people want to do med at UMelb after 2008. Bsc and Biomed for 3 yrs then 4 yrs grad(if you kill gamsat immediately on your first try). Monash is going to have a ball from 2008 onwards..

This is an interesting question that is highly debated. What specialist/surgeon earns the most money, provided that they are working in a good position. Someone was saying that opthalmic surgeons earn more on average than cardiothoracic and neurosurgeons, then someone else comes along and talks...
If they ask you 'why do you prefer our med school above your state's? just talk about something special they do and that they cater for specific needs of yours and just credit the uni and possibly make up a situation

Umelb is the to uni 4 med, bcz i said so(this might be the reason y u wuldnt think it wz the top uni 4 med).
