This. Not so much missing physics, but I was kind of depressed after my final maths exams, since I knew there wouldn't be much maths in med. You're rural, right? So you've had your interview? I got a late round offer on Friday because of a low predicted ATAR, but a high actual ATAR, so maybe...
Chances are I'll go to UNSW. My first preference is at UNSW, second at UWS and third at UNSW. First two required an interview so not certain about entry into those, but if I fail to get into my first two preferences, I'll definitely get into my third at UNSW.
My school gives out references. I'm pretty sure we pick them up a couple of days before HSC results are out. They're written by our home-room teachers (called pastoral teachers at my school) and they're generally very positive.
Yeah, I mentioned that in 1977, the Methodists, Presbyterians and Congregationalists united to form the Uniting Church. It was also significant that it was a Methodist Church that turned into a Uniting Church (in stimulus) as the Methodists were the most active group in encouraging and working...
I loved section III. I think the reason they took that direction was because they had already asked two generic essays for 2007 and 2008, so they didn't want to be so predictable that students could gauge what key area the next essay would be on (key areas being significant person, ethics and...
Awesome stimulus. Both could have fit well with any prepared story. I chose the first quote.
Re: "celebrates the way relationships contribute to a sense of belonging"
I think this was straight-forward and relevant. I don't see what's confusing; relationships and belonging go hand in hand.
Surprised they only asked for one related text, but it was good as it meant I could spend more time explaining my ideas and making a stronger link to the question.
Also my second text didn't have much 'understanding' in it, so it was convenient to not have to use that.
It went well with my...
Thought it was quite an easy section, at least in comparison to the CSSA Trial.
I was a bit disappointed that there were four texts (would have preferred three) but everything still went smoothly. I used the visual and the poem for (e).
Text Four wasn't as technique-dense as I would have...
Good decision. I was on 13 units (with design and tech) in term 4 last year and I was coming first, but, like you, my time being was consumed by these 2 units that I didn't particularly have a passion for.
As soon as you drop it you will start to improve in your other subjects (e.g. I came...
Whoa that's a huge difference! Well then it looks like I'll have to improve in all three sections :cold: I'll be sure to ask my careers advisor to purchase a prep course package. So far Medentry seems to have the best reputation, but I'll have to look into it more. My careers advisor is very...
I agree. I've done all three now and marked them and I saw no improvement :(
Except for section 2. Easiest section ever! I wish I could say the same for the other two though.
I don't think that requiring UMAT tuition means that one is not cut out to be a doctor. Sometimes to go well in tests you just need to be familiar with the style of questions and to see how the examiners test for certain skills.
