I think some banks try to pay a bit extra as goodwill, as a few extra hundred per week over 10 weeks is a small price to encourage the interns to come back as grads or come back later in their careers... also to get interns hooked on earning good money as an incentive to get them to come back
The accounting thing is probably the doubly entry system. I've been told that you have to know that the BOP always equals zero under a floating exchange rate, it's nice if you know why but you don't need to know why.
BOP == 0 under a floating exchange rate. That is, the current account...
I think that's compeltely unfair. Gittins has always maintained that he writes about the economy from an unbiased political opinion - neither right nor left.
From what I've read the FTA benefits the US more than Australia (no suprise considering they are larger and had more barganing power)...
Hmm... let's see, what justifications are there for the war?
Weapons of mass destruction - not a reason since they don't exist;
Freeing the iraqi people from a brutal dictator - not a reason, the international group Human Rights Watch said in their latest report that there wasn't enough...
I think he means that a lot more money flows in and out of the economy because of trade rather than income. But the income component does make up the majority of the current account defecit.
I assumed it does. My textbook says the BOP == 0 under a floating exchange rate, wouldn't that mean...
IMHO Kazza Lite K++ is better than Kazaa Lite. No more random crashing for me, and less chance of running out of sources, faster downloading.

The kazaa lite codec pack is great, all the codecs you will ever need (DivX, XVid, AC3, Indeo etc) in 10 megs:
