Aghhh gahh, i totally stuffed it XD.
Coudln't square properly and got a stupid circle.
Did it second time and STILL got a circle.
THen, because question called for ellipse, I managed to convince myself that a "circle" was a SPECIAL type of "ellipse".
Yikes.
Lol yea ... I wasn't sure either because it was 2 marks so just 1 mark for each right? I wrote Main Sequence and 1 solar mass too. But i wasn't sure cuz it was seemed like too obvious an answer? But anyways, hope that's what they were after.
=)
Here goes:
Anions either sulfate, phosphate, chloride, carbonate.
1. Fresh sasmple - add H+ ions eg. HNO3. If bubbles occur, then carbonate ion is present.
2. Now to the solution, add Ba2+ ions eg. Ba(NO3)2. If a precipitate forms then sulfate is present. You may note from solubility...
We have a chem practical coming up and we're going to be tested on this module. To be precise - the section on identifying the presence and concentration of ions and also the section and also the earlier section on ammonia and the Haber process. So .. any ideas on what they might get us to do??
