Right now I'm resigned to accepting them. They're good I know but will they get me a 95 ATAR, maybe they will, maybe not, there's another day to wait.
Practice past papers for the full 3 hours. As I have special provisions my half-yearlies were all nearly 3 hours and I've found you get given 3 hours because they expect thats how long they expect it to take. They even stated on the BOS website that for each paper, a teacher 'sits' the HSC exam...
I'd advise you to be as quick as possible in submitting a request for provisions, the BOS can be quite slow to respond, in my case my school sent it off in mid-December, only got it back a week ago. But as long as they receive it in time, they should grant you provisions. They may not give you...
I'd either have with English
a) Make it non-compuslary
b) Have it not count if you do over 10 units and its not your best two
c) A restructure of the syllabus so some time is spent on how to write what you're supposed to write about as opposed to so much time on what to write full stop...
Having done General since Year 11, I can tell you that you would have a lot to catch up on if you dropped to General. I'm not sure you could catch up on 5 terms work in time for the trials. Perhaps stick with 2U (content you already know) and work on improving that.
- Roy killing his maker Tyrell is a broader metaphor of the context of the time of 'Blade Runner', of a God being killed by humanity
- Victor Frankenstein wanted to,' Pour a torrent of light onto our dark world'.
- Eldon Tyrell said 'Commerce is our goal'. He did so in his room that Ridley...
It just doesn't sound academic to write in first person. But if it makes you feel better saying,' Shakespeare reveals Hamlet's inner turmoil through the use of this metaphor', is no different to saying that in first person you think that (An essay is in most cases in English a personal response...
That question is very broad and flexible compared to many other questions because you can talk about anything regarding contexts. Its not like 2012 Q where you had to talk about textual form. I did a practice essay for that question and my thesis was,' A text is a mirror of its time and values'...
The impact Great Depression and the failure of successive Weimar governments was ultimately a large step for the Nazis to come to power. Germany, even during 1924-29 were unstable as they were reliant on foreign loans and now couldn't repay them as well as meet their reparation payments...
You can say the texts in Module A force us to sympathise with non-human creatures, saying a lot about the human condition, that ultimately humanity believes they are almighty, hedonistic (they believe they can do anything), but the failures of Victor F and Eldon T demonstrate that ultimately...
I only have them for a couple of subjects - English and SOR II - and I find them useful. Particularly SOR, because the excel guide for the subject goes into more depth than the textbook our school uses. Same with English, except we have no textbook and an English department that apparently...
The biggest problem is that some schools can do syllabuses in different order. For example my school in Economics does Topics 3 and 4 first and then 1 and 2 and in Business they do Finance (Topic 3), Operations (Topic 1), Marketing (Topic 2) and HR (Topic 4). Therefore it'll be hard to find many...
