Unfortunately, you can't do too well (band 6) if you can't do any psuedocode, programming isn't necessary, but if you can't do psuedocode you won't be able to do the questions that need it. Usually they have a heap of marks assigned to them as well.

Yeah i reckon the reshaped idea was really awkward. It made it seem like we had to have a first impression about it, then we looked at context and picked up something extra.

I agree there, being smart is not about how much you know.
There is a big difference between being smart and being educated. Some people can pick things up really easy and understand it by just reading over once. I'd say this is smart.
Everyone can be educated, but not everyone is smart...
