To get more of a basic overview of World History i'm currently reading 'A little history of the world' by E. H. Gombrich, he wrote it for children so it is a little patronizing but its not taxing and i'm finding it quite enjoyable.
Has anyone heard of the alphabet series by Sue Grafton, i dont know of any other author who has set up a series like that. 'S is for Silence' was the last book out but i've only read up to 'E is for Evidence' so far.
