MATH1110 is considered a very easy course by pretty much everyone, especially in comparison to MATH1210 which can be taken instead. If you're struggling with it because you only did 2 unit maths, make sure to attend the math clinic regularly (though you really should have done a bridging...
ELEC2320 98
ELEC2131 92
MATH2310 100
PHYS2170 88
Maintained my 7.0, so I'm pretty ecstatic. This semester was an absolute killer in regards to workload (especially PHYS2170), really looking forward to next semester which looks like it will have a much nicer pace.
Yeah, it surprised me considering I didn't finish any of the exams this semester, they seemed so much longer than last semester. I'm a bit annoyed by how I must have gone in the ELEC1300 final considering I went in with 50/50. The overall mark is pretty decent though, so meh.
I have just completed my first year of electrical engineering.
My results for the year. I'm stoked I managed the 90 in GENG1803, what a terrible subject.

ELEC1700: 96
GENG1803: 90
MATH1210: 92

To my delight, I discovered a letter from the Engineering department of the University of Newcastle in my mailbox. It turns out, my application for a UNISS scholarship (Electrical Engineering) has passed the initial stages.
Thus, I have an interview scheduled in the near future.
Here is where...
In 2001 a 56/84 alligned to a 46/50.
Though the values obviously would vary somewhat due to the difficulty of the paper, I would assume that a mark in the mid 70's would still scale into the 45+range. I hope.
I don't really know though, so If someone could clarity this matter, it would be of...
I thought that a 70-80% raw mark would scale into the top band. The raw cutoffs that I have seen seem to indicate this.
I got to bed at 3:00 last night, so I wasn't exactly in the best condition for a test. I panicked and once again messed up my time management. I'm hoping for a raw mark around...
Re: General Thoughts - Maths Extension 2
Looking through the test, it didn't seem so difficult.
Unfortunately, I completely messed up my time management. I didn't have the time to complete questions that I am sure I could have done.
I have also been worrying about this. I do not wish to lose a significant amount of easy marks because of incorrect decisions on how many significant figures.
The questions that always confuse me in regards to significant figures are the questions that include information listed with one...
I didn't do so well in the multiple choice, which put me in a bad mood that affected how I went in the rest of the paper. Ultimately, I don't think I did very well.
What did everyone have for the multiple choice questions?
I wasn't sure about the pressure questions, the arch bridge reaction...
I am currently trying to revise curve sketching, as it seems to be an area in which I could gain a significant amount of easy marks.
The problem is that there are practically no curve sketching questions in the text books that I have that are similar to the HSC curve sketching questions. By...
What level of raw marks in the extension 1 and 2 courses are required to get an aligned mark that is over 90? I am aware that these alignments have no bearing on the UAI, but I am trying to create a realistic UAI prediction through SAM (which uses aligned marks,no?).
I was rather suprised to...
