I've studied Commerce at both and liked both (was at USYD for one year before transferring...). I'm going to disagree with some others in this thread in that I have found the quality of teaching in the Commerce faculty at UNSW generally excellent. At USYD the teaching was also good, except for...
I am happy to tutor you Business Studies. In the 2004 HSC I placed in the top twenty in the state with a HSC mark of 96.

It depends on the teacher. If the teacher is good I like to come to class.
Some of the lectures I have do impose attendance requirements, however a lot of lecturers are not strict on this.
I never said there is an exact correlation between school fees and quality of education. But generally if you are paying that much money for a school you are going to get experienced teaching, high quality facilities and a high level of subject choice, otherwise you would never consider paying...
Why would you need private tutoring if you go to Moriah College? That school is ~$20000 a year and probably already the best education you can possibly get.
Do you need the money? If yes, stay. Even if you get fired eventually at least you get some money out of it. If you get fired/resign for incompetence you probably won't be getting a reference out of it, so I doubt the work experience will be too useful in acquiring future jobs.
There is no...
Actually I'll throw in some support for the international students because all the ones I've met have been very nice. I've also done a bit of volunteering on campus and I can tell you that the majority of the volunteers are international students.

It's of course very long but also very fast-paced and exciting so it seems shorter than what it is (apart from that snoozeworthy, near-incomprehensible essay on history at the end). Unlike Anna Karenina which is very long and also probably the most boring novel ever written.
War and Peace...
A lot of people say that 'communism works in theory, but not in practice' but I would say it is very flawed in both. As human beings, we need the ability to achieve and to be rewarded for it. A total redistribution of wealth eradicates the mechanism of exchange by which merit is sanctioned and...
With interest rates currently pretty high and rising, lumping the totality of your HECS payments in a savings account instead of paying upfront is not a bad idea.
Let's say for example that, at its current value, it's looking like your HECS debt will cost you $18000 over a three-year-degree...
Reading "Anansi Boys" by Neil Gaiman. I was kind of hesitant to get it because I didn't really enjoy "American Gods" but it is excellent.
Day of the Triffids is one of my all-time favourite books. If you are interested there is an unofficial sequel called Night of the Triffids by Simon Clark...
Hoping that Federer will take the title. His wins may be predictable but he still has the most complete and attractive style of game.
Nadal's moonballer/pusher style is ugly to watch and I can't stand Djokovic with his constant ball-bouncing and injury timeouts, and he seems to have a pretty...
Bernard Cornwell is great IMO. Try his Sharpe series if you have an interest in the Napoleonic wars. Kind of similar to the Flashman series - similarities between the hero, and same tounge-in-cheek English humour. His books are extremely violent though, which may be a turnoff for some
