no luck, ive found some stuff about moderating in general, that is adjusting between schools (ive heard that story about a billion times), and also low band cutoffs :S but nothign really I find relevant.
Well actually, 4u maths is my best subject (well, maths), and I am enjoying it (hell I admited it!) so I didnt choose it for the scaling.
I was just getting worried, especially entering marks into SAM..... I had to be generous to myself to get 90. and I was expecting more...

I was VERY happy to read this thread, as now I know that raw marks are adjusted considerably for this subject to get the aligned HSC mark. I always had a suspicion this happened after trying to calculate my UAI going off my projected HSC mark (IM in year 12 now) and 'realising' that 4u maths'...
Is that 15% of chemistry students or 15% of teh general student population? top 15% in Chemistry is probably actually harder than top 8% in IT becasue of the general quality of the students in either.
To get an 'aligned mark' I know you have to adjust for what school and rank your in, but will...
