True. But you do gain a lot from moving away from home, and its not just degree related.

Nope, Econometrics is applied statistics+math+some Economic Theory. So its not really that much actual math. ANU offers a mathematical Economics major if you want to do a lot more math (as if the math content is not high enough in the core courses at ANU!).

Mac bank is also pretty creative in the sense that it has a new deal team in its MacCap advisors area, it is called the Climate Change team and it does deals that involve renewable energy and emission trading. It really puts Green into Investment banking, how creative is that?

I had the test on tuesday, I wasn't happy Jan either mate, I only felt somewhat confident with the numerical.

so why are first round interviews with your first preference?

If we apply for Mac, we get a preference were we work but not a choice because they allocate you to what your most suited for?
