Ok guys, so I'm a normal 17year old guy doing his HSC and I really like the notebook (totally straight aswell by the way). I cried when the old lady finally came to the realisation that it was her! I think everyone cries during htat part, but its so good.

nearly fell asleep twice. The reason it doesn't really make sense is that it is film noir, that is one of the characteristics, you don't get the plot laid out for you. Try watching the big sleep and see if you can stay awake
