hahaha! All in Canberra! Ngunnawal is in Gungahlin (Northern Canberra). Belconnen is the other North Canberra town centre. Civic is the centre of Canberra.

I did EUL101 back in 2007 as a mandatory subject for INTS... it was 2 essays over the semester and 1 mandatory 2 hour a lecture a week.... each lecture held by different language convenors....it wasn't hard...just annoying having to attend a lecture @ 4pm on a wednesday when I had no other...
I did a Gap year with GAP (which is what Lattitude was back then). Worked at a school in Devon for the year with 1 girl from SA and one from NZ. Was a fun year and highly reccomended :D
Most of the unis will look @ not only your academic transcript but also extra curricular activities (clubs and societies @ uni as well as things down outside uni eg helping a charity)
you just have to remember: YOU HAVE TO DO AT LEAST 50% OF EACH YEARS STUDY AT MACQUARIE (or it might just be 50% of third year.....either way......check it)
So how did everyone find the show? I didn't think it was all that bad this year...could have been much worse - really only had 2 really hectic days from my point of view :D
yep, although its my usual job so its not like im doing anything different (just longer days than normal :( )...im doing the heritage centre and am doing all the perpetual trophies and stuff...

Im working at the RAS at the moment and saw a bunch of volunteers there yesterday....I think I saw one person at about 30 but that was the only one...the rest seemed to be in their 60s....
I can tell you what was involved 2 3 and 4 years ago...im assuming its the same...
it involved one 5-15 minute (cant remember the exact time) tutorial presentation (10%), one research outline (saying what it is that you are going to research) 1-1.5 pages long (5%), Tutorial Participation (5%)...
I worked a part time and a casual job for the first 1.5 years, then for the last year or so I did set days as a casual....
With these jobs it was good because I knew WHEN I would be working and could therefore plan my assessments etc around work...I was also able to get time off for exams and...
