There are Private Boarding schools, there is a Private Selective school and you didn't include run-of-the-mill public schools which are perhaps the most popular type.
While admin may crow that the average UAI on the forum is 90 or whatever it is, I believe that if this forum didn't exist, the average UAI of the same group of people would be at least 2 points higher.
There are always people smarter than you, and there are always people that you are smarter than..
TastesGoodBut, you must be pretty fucking stupid to start a thread like this tho...
that charles guy sounds like an arrogant fuck. society doesn't need misfits like that

I did Philosophy and got that certificate thing today. Only 2 out of 5 of my school went haha.
Philosophy is the least work and traditionally scales the best, although scaling is highly variable due to the small number of people who do the subject. Which of the three you prefer with regards...
I would suggest things like study smarter, not harder. Use practice papers to find out what you don't know and then study that. Too many people waste too much time studying stuff they already know.
All of this advice is so unrealistic.
I mean, WE didn't follow half of it.
I'm gonna write something after I've gotten my UAI (that'll tell me how effective my study technique was).
Yeah, but Ruse has an even higher cut-off than others. People cut down the academic perfomances of non-selective private schools like mine, Knox, but they accept anyone of any intelligence. In fact, you have to book years in advance so they'd have no way of knowing anyway.
And you have to be a genius to get in, they basically only accept 96+ people anyway. To be honest, it isn't the school, it's just the sheer density of extremely intelligent people.
