I was pointing out that any activities done by groups using the IRA name would have been equalled, easily, by British actions in Ireland.
I did not mean incidents such as civilian bombings recently by the RIRA, sorry for the confusion. :cool:
Groups using the IRA name have committed what could be classified terrorist attacks, no doubt, but on the whole, I'm sure good ol' Britannia has committed more atrocities that were 'terrorist' over the years, no doubt again.
I haven't read much of this thread, but the way I see it is:

I enjoy his books, sometimes.
But you must read them as humour, rather than a in-depth political analysis.
I think he even fucked himself up once in an interview, when asked if his books were meant to be humurous or political.
