I haven't received the letter yet, but we've generally gotten the mail later or not at all sometimes. I'll probably get it tomorrow. Hopefully.
How does being in the TSP affect units of study selection? Do they just go through all of that in O-week?
I want to probably major in neuroscience and biology (in Advanced Science), but I was looking at the first year subjects that are expected/recommended, and the total credit points add up to more than the limit. So, what subjects should I be doing in first year for these majors?
Thanks.
I know it is probably too soon to really worry about it, but I was just wondering when people would be invited to do the TSP. I was offered a place in Advanced Science at USYD, and I definitely qualified for the TSP (ATAR of 99.60 + 8th (in state) in Bio + Band 6 in three sciences + E4 in Ext I...
Are the ten units your best ten, or just any ten? I got a band 6/e4 in everything except English (band 5), but physics won't count because English obviously has to.
Here are my ranks/averages for each course:
Advanced English (15/58) - 82% (82% in trial, expecting 85% in HSC)
Biology (1/26) - 97% (99% (1st) in trial, at least 97% in HSC)
Chemistry (1/22) - 91% (87% (1st) in trial, at least 90% in HSC)
