77.95. Worked hard in class but bludged when it came to the Exam Period, so it evened out.
In the end I qualified for all pre-requisites and got something along the lines of what I wanted at Monash Uni, so I'm not complaining. In fact I'm thrilled.
That would be good to know, except all the medical-related subjects I applied for don't have ENTERs. Only Study Scores.
If I were to take a guess, since a study score of 25 is the mean, it would probably be the equivalent of a Band 3 (or an overall score of 50%).
But going blindly with that...
Parents are funny things. I bludged all through the exam periods (including the HSC), and they all but disowned me for my 'laziness' and 'lack of motivation'.
Then I got a half-decent ATAR and they paid for my overseas ticket. Such loving parents...
Having applied to go to Monash University in Melbourne, most of my subjects require me to have a certain 'study score' that I must meet or pass to be able to qualify for said subject.
This is an example of the requirements to qualify for Health Science, one of my preferences (for NSW people)...
What part does the HSC exam play in this, though?
I have 13 units; I know which ones are going to be removed and halved. I'm curious, when they take that 1 unit, if it will just be whichever mark is better (the assessment mark or the HSC mark), or if they will combine the assessment and HSC...
