im prelim so most of the stuff there aint doable.
also if im trying to practice for the prelim yearlies 2&3unit maths should i look over various textbooks? liek i am using fitzpatrick and school but should i use stuff like cambridge as practice for more questions... or should i just focus on...
is 3unit maths really compareable to 4unit or are they totally different? \what is 4unit maths compareable to to other high school maths curriculum in the world, like US SAT maths for example.
is there trig in mechanics, conics, volumes, polynomials, graphs and complex numbers? errrrrrrr i guess i was wrong just read the document that all topics require trig meh... guess ill have to study it anyway.
hey guyz. i wanna do ext2 maths but i wanna know how much trig is in it. trig is usually 1 of my hated subjects in 3unit because the topic is intensive.
ok maybe im wrong. i was thinking of stuff like mechanics, complex numbers and volumes which have no relation to trig at all. so sorry if i was causing any confusion with you people.
wth. you have 3 4unit classes? we only have 1 this year in yr12 and it only has like 15 people. thats rigged because u have to do it by outside. are the classes full or something? whats the maximum number of students per ext2 maths class? same as any other class or is it different coz its harder?
4unit maths is like physics. see thats nothing related to trig. 4unit maths is hard because it moves away from stuff like algebra and trig and moves towards fundamental aspects of mathematics.
if i want to do extension 2 maths then what topics are most important for it in 3unit? my tutor said trig, integration, and parabola (polynomial stuff and the locus stuff) are the most important. but i heard there are completely new topics that will blow my mind away if i dont do consistant work?
