yeah there are major crumple zones on the front/back of cars to nullify the forces generated by impact (its alot better for the car to absorb it than the occupants =])
yeah i ended up picking mechatronics
out of interest, what engo are your mates doing that are in the SAE team?
I'd really like to join that even though I'm doing mechatronics and not mechanical, doesn't seem like itll matter that much anyway
hey thanks for the adviice, yeah doin like 24 cp a semester anyway love engo haha
kinda taboo to mention that four letter word eh, thanks for the advice
actually met a guy who went through the transfer process from psyche in bsc to mechatronics today, so sounds alright, guess i just gotta...
Say would anyone know anything about this? I spose ill have to launch an application through UAC either next year or mid year this time, which ever one is possible (maybe mid year if im lucky)
What criteria would be considered to see if i make it? I'd like to make this change to transfer to...
I spose if you want a phenomenal UAI then you want a band six in english, (I mean like, stuff you can use to study medicine/law)
but looks like you rother subjects would push you up there anyway if you did well in them
i think last year they scaled english super tough, forming the best...
ohh thats cool
thanks for the help
so yeah, i take it as part of the science degree with the spare units i should be able to do some jap
heard there are couple of civil doing combined that they just have a little bit left over too to wander around doing anything in the uni, maybe its the...
doing physics major in science and mechatronic for engineering
just chose combined with science initially being a bit absent minded about japanese
thought it would be nice too because its matched up with mechatronics, that whole kill two birds with one stone and greater understanding stuff...
wondering if there is any leeway in the way of electives since im doing engo/science.
ive tried deciphering both the engo and science handbooks and have come up with that; there will be 168 credit points from engo alone and i need 96 for the science part
but ive gottttttt a reallllll...
nothing a rag with chloroform cant fix
but if you insist, latch onto someone and leech
or
browse at your own pleasure and maybe just happen to bump into some people doing the same course as you are
it might even be better cos youll be able to goto all the stalls/events/info lecture...
i dont think you really need a clear distinction
the maths syllabus is really gay, but you just get tested on everything you do
the preliminary topics are meant for you to learn in year 11 but it doesnt really matter what order you get taught
sometimes its just like foundation stuff then it...
ohoho, thats quite cool, playing the spite card with the arts degree
But seriously, all the effort to end up doing a *farts* degree....I guess she would just have to turn up to the exams and burrow lectures off cassette tapes to grab it
I can't decide between the two, although I've already put down my preferences for eng/science at Sydney Uni. Hoping to get in. Anyway I posted a similar thread in the Sydney Uni engineering sub forum but didin't get a reply.
Whats the main difference apart from these two? I know they are very...
hey once again i just remmebered, even though the gap may be substancial in internal assessments, as long as you can work as hard or have a better ability then the guy ranked ahead of you then it should be good
like for english advanced, i got an internal assess mark of about 82~83 raw, and...
