Gday Hasnt been a post ere since feb 3, so whats crackin? hows every1 liking uni life so far?...week 1 went fast! I think its pretty busy already, they r going through everything so quickly... This campus seems pretty 'trendy'..i dont know if anyone else has noticed..but whats with everyone...

oy retards. im not living at home i am moving from nsw to qld to live up there in student accomodation. and i know youth allowance is to help ppl financially, but seriously, two working parents, of course they are going to earn over 55k! that is nothing...i mean it might work for some people...

OMG chris i am in the EXAct same situation as you!! I couldnt qualify for youth allowance because parents earn over 55k. FUCK the howard government for screwing education over and making it so difficult... next, parents wont support me..prob cant afford it either I want to start my uni course...

Yeh i tried to get semester 1 leases but they all gone... i had to get semester 1 and 2 and hope that if i decide to move sumwhere cheaper later, i can get someone to fill my spot. But i am stayin at University Village, Parkwood, 500m from uni. $170 per week. looks nice. The griffith on campus...

i reckon they should have a pool there. o well. So is there many trees and nice shady areas at the uni? is it treey? or is it one big open concrete cleared and paved kinda look?

Re: GRIFFITH 08---whos goin? yeah it was a tough decision choosing between here or Nexus place, i got offers from both...but thought that id choose sumwhere bit closer to the uni. Nexus looks nice though.

Re: GRIFFITH 08---whos goin? I got accepted into University Village, Parkwood, just 500m from griffith. Its cheaper there- $170 per week and better value than griffith university village which i thought was expensive esp with the utility rates and other fees bunged on top of the residential fee.

This is the only smart, decent and helpful reply in this whole thread! Well said. And my oppinion, just give it time. Dont worry if u havnt made friends yet. Things always work themselves out no matter how bad they can seem to get. Life isnt that cruel haha, plus when u do groupwork and stuff...
