you *can* type japanese on IRC (umm ok, i only know that in mirc you can.. not sure about other clients), you just need the right settings to read and type it
random note: i do computer science. there's so many electives that i can do a japanese major with them =P guess i can drop the arts...
one of my friends did extension japanese for a few weeks. then she decided she didn't like it and dropped it =P
and .. um.. i don't really get how.. it's gona .. "disadvantage" other people.
uh well for a while in our tutes .. we just watched videos of how we should behave in an interview =P
that smap video was just for us learning a structure with the lyrics.. or something..
and no. i dont think the teachers are hot =/

i think it's something like:
trial hsc wa hontou ni sonna ni kowai desu ka.
but taking out either the hontou ni or sonna ni would be ok i think ^^;; sounds a bit repetitive with both of them in there =p
i don't think you can cram for japanese anyway. it's more of continuous practise over the years =P

D: we saw a video of them performing that in the uh end of year red+white things in our japanese tute.
they were............. D:!!!!!!!
other than that, the song was nice =P
hmmm i thought this year seemed easier too .. though the 'use-by date' thing threw me off for a while >_>
maybe they're feeling sorry for us ;D last year doing the texts anyway ..
i thought the exam was pretty easy too .. compared to the practice exams .. and previous year's papers ... and so forth :D
hopefully, i'll get into band 6 XD
my notes .. and the practise essays and whatnots i did for studying ....
hmmm i've heard someone used a computer to type their exam 'cause their handwriting was reaaaaaaaally bad .. lol
