I've heard recently that respect for the commerce degree at USyd is much lower than it used to be. UNSW>Macq>USyd>UTS. But it depends on the person, and also the major/electives you choose.

So am I. I really want to know the kind of career prospects a graduate from Bachelor of Bus Admin at Macquarie would face. I am worried that the degree just sounds too broad and vague, hoping to be proved wrong! Surely someone here must do it?

Easy easy. Much better to do very well 90+ in gen maths (very achievable) than to do Mathematics and get a 70. Rank matters not nearly as much if the students in your class are all or mostly doing very well (and you are one of them), however if its a larger spread of scores say people failing...

I wish I'd balanced school work with another activity like sport or work (but I also had several friends who were compromising school work for a job - don't do that), because I had spare time on my hands pretty much after every school day and didn't really feel motivated to come back home and...

I'd say check out TAFE options first, or you could always repeat? No shame in that. Do it through TAFE.

I absolutely agree with this rec, for sure it is one of the most compelling series I have read, really beautiful.
