I'm a current student (sorry to dig up an old thread) You can transfer in with some existing uni, and in my case they didn't even look at my GPA from my previous course. There's some good guide stuff now at the new UWS Medicine medsoc site UWSMS

I rang the BOS, and they said that they 'think' that i am eligible b/c of my philo scores, when i probed deeper they said that they 'thought so' and that i should wait for the paper tomorrow :) Looks promising, they reckon it's counted. Congrats to fairy.. good stuff

Hey, My results as follows (relevant ones) EE1 Band E4 EE2 Band E4 Maths Band 6 Physics Band 6 IPT Band 6 Philisophy - HD If philosophy counts - that's 10 units in the top band. But does philosophy count? Cheers

Probably :) I was over the other side with Dr Squishy though. Hopefull it'll be like the above scores, but we shall see! I wonder what the average UAI of distinction course grads are (assuming they qualify)
