Whoever gets to do a mock trial is damn lucky. My class never got to do one :mad: It definately beats having to sit and listen to real cases in a local court. But at least the District Court was good.
You don't have to go far back as to the reporting of the crime, investigation, arrest and charge.
I think basically:
Plea --> Hearing --> Factors affecting decision (objective, aggravating etc) --> Suitable punishment

Legal Studies is always an interesting class to go to. Most of what you'll learn you'll know already because it deals with almost everyday issues you'll hear on the news.
