Is uni maths really that much harder than adv. or ext.? Thinking of maybe doing Engineering but not sure how insane the maths gets

just sucks that I can't reach any of those 90 ATAR courses :( I could maybe do a lower ATAR course and transfer into one of those courses, but I'm not sure how easy that process is.

I'm taking a gap year in 2025 to work and save up some Uni money, but I ended up getting an ATAR of 76.85 at a poorly ranked regional school (bottom 40), I was hoping to achieve an ATAR of 80. I'm still not 100% sure what I want to do at uni (a contributing factor to my gap year) but I'm certain...
